Flick expressed strong dissatisfaction after Barcelona failed to register Dani Olmo and Fauvictor.
Barcelona had shown good performance in the early days of this season, but ended the first half of this season poorly, suffering from severe slump. It had two wins, two draws and four losses in eight league matches since November, and is now mired in three consecutive home games (Las Palmas 1-2, Leganes 0-1, and Atletico Madrid 1-2). Barcelona, which had been leading the league, is ranking third (38 points), trailing behind Real Madrid (43 points) and Atletico (41 points).
Worse yet, they are on the verge of losing their ambitious players. Olmo and Victor are the main characters. The two players, who joined Barcelona ahead of this season, had problems with their registration issues at the beginning of this season. Barcelona desperately needed to raise funds due to La Liga rules and the Financial Fair Play (FFP), and soon had difficulty registering Victor and Olmo after their failure.
Barcelona then tried to register Olmo and Victor with the help of a trick. Last summer, Barcelona listed Victor and Olmo in place of Andreas Christensen who suffered long-term injury. The two players were registered but the period was limited until Dec. 31.
Recently, however, watchers predict that Olmo and Victor have high possibility to leave the club after half a year. Barcelona asked the court to allow the club to register temporarily until June next year, but the request was rejected. Against this backdrop, Olmo is likely to break up with the team as it was reported that he was included in the contract clause that allows him to leave Barcelona as a free agent and sign with another club if the registration is not completed in the upcoming winter transfer market.

Barcelona was anxious to raise money through an "economic lever." Barcelona has since signed a sponsorship contract with Nike and raised money through commercial profits such as VIP seat sales, trying to resolve Olmo and Victor's registration issues.
Barcelona's efforts, however, have come to nothing. The La Liga secretariat said on its official website on the 1st (Korea Standard Time), "Barcelona has failed to come up with an alternative to registering the two players from January 2 in compliance with La Liga's fiscal control rules." As a result, Olmo and Victor will not be able to play the rest of the season and will virtually be separated from their team. 스포츠토토
Flick did not hide his discomfort amid the worst-case scenario. "Flick expressed his dissatisfaction with Olmo and Victor at the press conference," global media outlet Golcom said on Sunday.
Flick said in a press conference, "To be honest, I don't feel good about this either. The players are also unhappy, but we have to accept the situation as professionals. I am an optimistic person but I think we have to wait for a final decision on this matter. I will not disclose the conversation I had with Chairman Juan Laporta."
